Everyone's friendly and happy to share their tips & advice regarding training, food, etc. But really, we're there for the Shiba Inu, and they seem to really enjoy getting together. If you have a Shiba, I'd definitely recommend taking the opportunity to attend this type of meetup over a general doggy meetup (although those are good too!). Shibas all speak the same language, and they can all read each others' signals. That is important - although it may look to some like they are fighting, they are actually playing very gently compared to what they are capable of and they (usually) respect each others' boundaries. ”
